I try to live a “good” life with metta, openness and sincerity. When I was younger I traveled around the world twice-Europe 6 times, middle east 2 times and asia once. I got to meet, get blessed by  and attend public teachings by the Dali Lama . I went to the 5 “holy” sites of the Buddha while in Asia. I still make alot of mistakes but I continue to strive for peace. I hope that did not sound like bragging but it is difficult to try to briefly describe myself when I am still trying to figure this out. But I do believe that we are to a large extent a product of our past experiences.

 

       I Am…

     I either go all the way or not at all.

 I do not like sitting on the fence, its most umcomfortable.

 I suspect rational thought and logic, although I am attached to them.

 So much of reason is making excuses for one's actions or to justify one's actions to others standards or expectations. Reason and logic are learned, a conventional truth for organizing one's thoughts- they are taught by one's culture and thus not one's own but rather they are tools to be used to attempt to express the inexpressible.

 I want to see through the accepted norms

 to overcome my cultural upbringing

 to break free of the boundaries that have been taught to me.

 To be free and limitless

 to catch a glimpse of the interconnectiveness of infinite possibilities and realities is my journey.

To Be intense

 to feel deeply and passionately

 to reveal in all that I am.

To live in the present moment to moment of reality as it is and not as I wish it to be.

To flow around any obstacles which may hinder my constant Becoming.

 To wander in wonder

 To realize the folly of trying to define this “I”

 To be aware of the vanity of trying to confine the experience of living in mere words.
